I just made these cute Halloween towels last night while I was watching tv. Super fun and easy to make using our CroEdge blade for fleece. And they are good for using up leftover bits of yarn. To purchase your own crochet edge blade see my website here
Row 2 – DC2tog in each stitch across. Ch 3 and turn
Row 3 – Repeat row 2
Row 4 - Repeat Row 2 (if you have an extra on the end just make 1 DC in the extra stitch)
Row 5 – DC evenly spaced across the row (total of 7 DC counting chain 3) Ch 3 turn
Row 6 – DC in each DC across. Ch 3 turn
Towel prep/Foundation Row
Be sure to choose towels that have the same design on the
top and bottom. Use a rotary cutter to cut the towel evenly in half. Use our
CroEdge Blade for fleece to make the crochet holes about ½” from the edge of the towel. This will make
a nice hem.
With the front of the towel facing you; slip stitch into the
first hole on the right and then chain 1. Crochet into the next hole and chain
1 all the way across. Ch 3 and turn
