Then a few weeks ago I got the map layout in snail mail. My heart sank. The map showed we were in a dog leg off the beaten path. Ughh. I knew this would not be good. I don't care what craft show you do, you never want to be off the "beaten path" or main drag.
But we went with a positive attitude and hoped for the best. Unfortunately it got worse. After we set up we noticed our two neighbors (one on either side of us on the dog leg) were no shows. Now not only were we off the beaten path we were all alone with no neighbors to help draw attention. Not good!
Being proactive we moved our table to try to get close to the main traffic. This helped but it was still really hard to get people to see our booth. My daughter bless her heart walked around with jam samples to help bring customers. She is brilliant and saved the day. I can't thank her enough for all her hard work.
A bad pic of our booth but I forgot to take more.
